TRISEGMENTAL MOMENT-CURVATURE RELATIONS FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE MEMBERS

A SIMPLE METHOD IS PRESENTED FOR THE CALCULATION OF TRISEGMENTAL MOMENT-CURVATURE RELATIONS TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE CONTRIBUTION TO STIFFNESS BY THE CONCRETE IN THE TENSILE ZONE IN BETWEEN CRACKS. THESE MOMENT-CURVATURE RELATIONS WILL BE USEFUL FOR RIGOROUS SERVICEABILITY AND COMPATIBILITY ANALYSES OF HYPERSTATIC REINFORCED CONCRETE STRUCTURES. PREDICTIONS OF THE METHOD ARE COMPARED WITH TESTS AND ARE FOUND TO BE GOOD. /AUTHOR/
