FLEXURAL FATIGUE STRENGTH OF STEEL FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE BEAMS

THE RESULTS OF FLEXURAL FATIGUE TESTING OF STEEL FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE BEAMS ARE REPORTED. SEVERAL SIZES OF STEEL FIBERS WERE USED AS REINFORCEMENT IN CONCENTRATIONS OF 2.00 AND 2.98 PERCENT BY VOLUME OF CONCRETE. STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF THE TEST DATA INDICATED FATIGUE STRENGTHS OF 73 AND 84 PERCENT OF THE FIRST CRACK STATIC FLEXURE STRENGTH OF 2 MILLION CYCLES OF COMPLETE REVERSAL AND NONREVERSAL OF LOADING, RESPECTIVELY. /AUTHOR/
