A SUMMARY IS PRESENTED OF THE TECHNIQUES OF COMPOSITE CONSTRUCTION IN STEEL AND CONCRETE AS THEY ARE APPLIED IN GERMANY, RUSSIA AND THE U.S.A., AND THESE TECHNIQUES ARE EVALUATED IN THE LIGHT OF THEIR APPLICATION UNDER INDIAN CONDITIONS.
