THE PROBLEMS OF THE DYNAMIC INVESTIGATION OF ROADS /IN GERMAN/

IN CONTRAST TO STATIC LOADING WHICH IS INDEPENDENT OF TIME, DYNAMIC LOADING IS ALWAYS CONNECTED WITH A FINITE LOADING SPEED, THAT IS, THE LOADING DURATION FLUCTUATES BETWEEN VERY LONG PERIODS AND FRACTIONS OF A SECOND. THIS RESULTS IN THE MODULI OF ELASTICITY OF EVERY MATERIAL SHOWING A VARYING DEPENDENCE ON LOADING TIME, AND EXPLAINS WHY IN STATIC TEST METHODS LOWER VALUES ARE OBTAINED THAN IN ALL DYNAMIC TESTS. A COMPARISON IS MADE BETWEEN INDIVIDUAL METHODS OF MEASURING LOADING TO DETERMINE ELASTICITY VALUES EXAMPLES ARE GIVEN. /FG/RRL/
