AGGREGATE GRADATION IN NEBRASKA

AGGREGATE GRADATION VARIATIONS DURING PRODUCTION WERE STUDIED. SEVERAL PROJECTS WERE STUDIED UTILIZING VARIOUS METHODS OF SAMPLING AT DIFFERENT STAGES OF PROCESSING AND TRANSPORTING. THE SAMPLING, TESTING AND MATERIAL VARIANCES WERE DETERMINED IN A STATISTICAL MANNER. THE RESULTING PARAMETERS ARE TO BE USED IN THE APPLICATION OF STATISTICAL CONCEPTS TO SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALITY CONTROL OF CONSTRUCTION.
