PROCEEDINGS OF THE INTERDISCIPLINARY WORKSHOP ON NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING-MATERIALS CHARACTERIZATION

The field of nondestructive testing and materials characterization is examined with emphasis on new approaches that may lead to significantly improved future capabilities. The presentations range from examples of present capabilities and limitations to fields of basic research. The recommendations of four panels are presented for future research and development to advance the present state-of-the-art. (Author)
