PROPERTIES OF LOW-POROSITY ALITE PASTES

ALITE PASTES HAVING AN INITIAL WATER-SOLID RATIO 0.25 AND HYDRATED FROM 6 HOURS TO 90 DAYS AT TEMPERATURES 5, 25, AND 50 DEG C WERE STUDIED. THE DEGREE OF HYDRATION, POROSITY, COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH AND THE VOLUME CHANGES OF THE PASTES AS WELL AS THE LIME-SILICA RATIO OF THE HYDRATION PRODUCTS ARE DESCRIBED. /AUTHOR/
