THE ACCELERATED HARDENING OF CONCRETE /IN RUSSIAN/

RESEARCH ON THE ACCELERATED HARDENING OF DENSE AND POROUS AGGREGATE CONCRETE IS PRESENTED. THE HARDENING PROCESS AND INCREASE IN THE STRENGTH OF HEAVY AND LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE UNDER VARIOUS KINDS OF HYDROTHERMAL TREATMENT ARE INVESTIGATED. RECOMMENDATIONS ARE PUT FORWARD FOR THE SELECTION OF HYDROTHERMAL METHODS OF HEATING CONCRETE AND REINFORCED CONCRETE PRODUCTS CONTAINING DIFFERENT CEMENTS, FOR THE RIGIDITY OF CONCRETE MIXTURES, AND TECHNOLOGICAL PRODUCTION CHART. DATA ARE PRESENTED ON CONDITIONS OF ACCELERATED THERMAL TREATMENT USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH CONTINUOUS VIBROCOMPACTION TECHNIQUES. ACCELERATED HARDENING METHODS WHICH DO NOT RELY ON THERMAL TREATMENT BUT ON THE ADDITION OF CHEMICAL ACCELERATORS ARE DESCRIBED. /LCPC/RRL/
