DETERMINATION OF MATERIAL CONSTANTS AT MEASUREMENTS OF STRESSES IN CONCRETE STRUCTURES /IN POLISH/

A DETERMINATION OF STRESSES IN A CONCRETE STRUCTURE WITH A VIBRATING STRING EXTENSOMETER NEEDS AN ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CHARACTERISTIC COEFFICIENTS OF CONCRETE STRENGTH I.E. YOUNG'S MODULUS, POISSON'S RATIO AND A THERMAL EXPANSION COEFFICIENT. THE METHODS OF THE DETERMINATION OF THESE CONSTANTS, APPLIED IN IBW-PAN INVESTIGATIONS, ARE PRESENTED. THE TESTS HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT ON CONCRETE SAMPLES APPLYING A DIRECT MEASUREMENT AND AN ELECTRORESISTANCE EXTENSOMETER METHOD. THE INVESTIGATIONS DESERVE CONSIDERATION WHEN GREAT ACCURACY IS REQUIRED AND BECAUSE SUCH MEASUREMENTS ARE RARELY PERFORMED. /LCPC(A)/RRL/
