THE CONTACT OF CONCRETE MADE OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF CEMENT' SUPERSULPHATED CEMENT, PORTLAND CEMENT AND BLAST FURNACE SLAG CEMENT / CONTINUED, AND END/

THIS STUDY COMPARES THE BONDING OF REINFORCEMENTS IN THESE DIFFERENT CONCRETES, AND THE RESISTANCE IN THE BONDING ZONE. BONDING IN FRESHLY LAID CONCRETES WAS FOUND TO BE PERFECT. THE SAME WAS TRUE FOR PRESTRESSED PIPE RINGS. SUPER-FULPHATE CEMENT CONCRETE SHOWED EXCELLENT RESISTANCE, WITHOUT RETROGRESSION, AND WAS SUPERIOR TO THAT OBTAINED WITH SLAG OR CLINKER CEMENT. THIS IS EXPLAINED BY THE COMPLETE AND RAPID ABSORBTION OF CALCIUM SULPHATE INTO THE INSOLUBLE COMBINATIONS OF THE HYDRATED CEMENT. EXAMPLES OF APPLICATION ARE GIVEN. /LCPC/A/RRL/
