VIBRATORY STUDY OF CONCRETE PILES, IMPULSE AND HARMONIC RESPONSE. APPLICATION TO CONTROL /IN FRENCH/

NON-DESTRUCTIVE VIBRATORY CONTROL METHODS BASED ON IMPULSE (ECHO SOUNDING METHOD) OR HARMONIC RESPONSE OF THE HEAD OF THE PILE ARE REVIEWED. A THEORETICAL STUDY IS PRESENTED WHICH ASSIMILATES THE PILE TO AN ELASTIC CYLINDER ANCHORED LATERALLY AND AT ITS EXTREMITY. DAMPING CAUSED BY RADIATION OUTSIDE THE PILE IS CALCULATED. THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS ARE COMPARED. BOTH METHODS ARE EVALUATED, AND DETAILS GIVEN OF THE EQUIPMENT USED IN THE ECHO-SOUNDING METHOD. /LCPC/A/RRL/
