STRESS CORROSION OF HIGH-TENSILE STEEL USED FOR PRESTRESSED CONCRETE REINFORCEMENT /IN RUMANIAN/

THE FACTORS INFLUENCING STRESS CORROSION ARE STUDIED. A NEW THEORY EXPLAINING STRESS CORROSION IS PROPOSED, BASED ON A SERIES OF INVESTIGATIONS. RESULTS OF TESTS CARRIED OUT IN VARIOUS MEDIA ARE COMPARED WITH THOSE OBTAINED WITH NITRATE. DETAILS ARE GIVEN OF THE EQUIPMENT AND REAGENTS USED IN THE TESTS. /LCPC/RRL/
