THE RESULTS OF TESTS TO ASSESS THE EFFECT OF EXPANSIVE CEMENTS ON PUMICE CONCRETE AS A MEANS OF CONTROLLING CRACKING ARE DESCRIBED. MEASURMENTS WERE TAKEN OF THE EXPANSION, DRYING SHRINKAGE (28 DAYS, 50% RH, 21 DEGREES C), NET MOVEMENT (EXPANSION PLUS DRYING SHRINKAGE), MOISTURE MOVEMENT, AND 28 DAY COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH. THE CRAKCING CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CONCRETES ARE ANALYSED. /TRRL/
