PUENTE ARCO SOBRE EL EMBALSE DE EL BURGUILLO (AVILA). DISENO Y CONTROL DE LA EJECUCION

ARCH BRIDGE OVER THE BURGUILLO RESERVOIR (AVILA). DESING, CONSTRUCTION AND MONITORING

El articulo repasa las principales ideas que guiaron el diseno del puente arco sobre el Embalse de El Burguillo en avila. Se lleva a cabo una comparacion de esta estructura con otras estructuras en arco de construccion reciente discutiendo las ventajas e inconvenientes de las distintas soluciones, tanto desde el punto de vista del diseno y la funcionalidad como tambien desde el punto de vista de la construccion, siendo este un aspecto de gran importancia para esta tipologia estructural. Finalmente se incluye un breve resumen de las medidas tomadas durante la construccion del arco incluyendo medidas de fuerzas en los cables provisionales y medidas de deformaciones y temperatura en el arco. (A). Resumen en ingles: In this paper the main ideas guiding the design of the arch bridge over the Burguillo reservoir are presented. A comparison with other arch structures recently built is undertaken with special emphasis in pointing out the advantages and disadvantages of the different solutions both from the design and functional points of view of construction, this being a very important aspect for this structural typology. fianally, a small summary of the measurements taken during the construction of the arch is presented including measurements of provisional stay forces and strains and temperatures in the arch.
