POLICE TRAFFIC SERVICES INSTRUCTOR TRAINING INSTITUTE
The purpose of this study was to introduce key individuals to the NHTSA-developed curriculum materials for police traffic services and teach them how to teach. The objective was accomplished through the conduct of five 30-hour instructor training institutes conducted in various areas of the country in the fall of 1972. Various educational institutions served as host colleges. Ninety-two percent of the enrollees have reported that they intend to use the NHTSA curriculum materials for their future PTS training.
