THE DEVELOPMENT OF ASPHALTIC BASE LAYERS WIYH A HIGH DEGREE OF RIGIDITY
DESARROLLO DE BASES DE NATURALEZA ASFALTICA CON ALTO MODULO DE RIGIDEZ
The materials whit which it is intended to replace the gravel-cement base layer in semirigid pavements, are characterized. The replacement solve the problems that arise from using gravel-cement. There are two types of raw materials: waste coming from the de-asphalting plants in refineries and highly consistent modified binders.
