SHRINKAGE-COMPENSATED CEMENT /IN NORWEGIAN/

THE PRESENT STAGE OF A DEVELOPMENT PROJECT ON SHRINKAGE- COMPENSATED CEMENT IS DESCRIBED. IT INCLUDES THE HISTORICAL BACKGROUND, THE VALUATIONS WHICH SERVED AS A BASIS FOR THE PROJECT, THE RESULTS OF LABORATORY TESTS, AND RESULTS OBTAINED IN THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS. FURTHER TESTS, ARE DESCRIBED WHICH SHOWED THAT THE PERMANENCE OF SHRINKAGE COMPENSATION AND STRENGTH WAS FULLY SATISFACTORY AFTER 8 TO 10 MONTHS STORAGE. RESEARCH WAS ALSO CARRIED OUT ON CONCRETE WITH SPECIFIED NOMINAL CUBE STRENGTH RANGING FROM 100 TO 600 KG PER SQ CM AND CEMENT CONTENTS FROM 175 TO 510 KG PER SQ M. THE DEVELOPMENT OF STRENGTH WAS ADEQUATE BUT SPECIFIED NOMINAL CUBE STRENGTH SHOULD NOT BE LESS THAN 250 TO 300 KG PER SQ CM TO ENSURE SATISFACTORY SHRINKAGE COMPENSATION. /RRL/
