THERMAL EXPANSION OF LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE (IN RUSSIAN)

DETAILS ARE GIVEN OF A DILATOMETRIC METHOD WITH WHICH DEFORMATIONS CAN BE DETERMINED ACCURATELY AS A FUNCTION OF THE TEMPERATURE AND COEFFICIENT OF LINEAR EXPANSION OF LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE INGREDIENTS. THIS METHOD ENABLES RELATIONS BETWEEN THERMAL EXPANSION AND TEMPERATURE TO BE ESTABLISHED. USING THIS TECHNIQUE, IT WAS POSSIBLE TO OBTAIN THERMAL EXPANSION CHARACTERISTICS FOR LIGHTWEIGHT AGGREGATE, HARDENED CEMENT PASTE, AND LIGHTWEIGHT AGGREGATE MORTAR OVER A WIDE RANGE OF TEMPERATURES. /LCPC/RRL/
