Die Verkehrspolitik der Tschechischen Republik und die uebrigen Konzeptunterlagen bevorzugen eindeutig die Instandhaltung und Modernisierung bestehender Verkehrsnetze vor einer extensiven Entwicklung und dem Bau voellig neuer Verkehrskapazitaeten. Es sind Trends, die auch der nachhaltigen Entwicklung des Verkehrswesens Rechnung tragen, was zugleich eine wesentliche Vorgabe der Verkehrspolitik darstellt. Die Problematik des Ausbaus des Autobahn- und Schnellstrassennetzes, der Entwurf der Entwicklung von Verkehrsnetzen, die Modernisierung der Verkehrswege und die Problematik der Finanzierung von Landverkehrswegen werden eroertert. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: The Czech Republic's transport policy and other conception materials prefer maintenance and updating of the current transport networks to extensive developments and building brand new capacities. This trend, which corresponds with the need of sustainable transport development, is also a basic condition determined by the transport policy. The article deals with the problems concerning the construction of highways and motorways, the proposal for transport networks development, updating transport communications, and the problems concerning financing the construction of roads.
