Hochleistungsbeton fuer ein schlankes Sprengewerk. Luckenberger Bruecke ueber die Havel in Brandenburg / Luckenberger bridge in the city of Brandenburg

Die Luckenberger Bruecke in Brandenburg ist die zweite groessere Bruecke in Deutschland, die in Hochleistungsbeton B 85 ausgefuehrt wurde. Neben der hoeheren Festigkeit und Dichtheit des Betons hatten bei diesem Bauwerk auch der hoehere E-Modul und die geringeren Verkuerzungen aus Kriechen und Schwinden Einfluss auf die Wahl des Werkstoffs. Auch diese erfolgreiche Anwendung zeigt die besondere Bedeutung der Beherrschung der Betontechnologie. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: The project is the second larger bridge built in high performance concrete (HPC) in Germany. Beside the high strength and density of the concrete the increase in stiffness and the decrease of shortening due to creep and shrinkage were important for the choice of HPC in this slender structure. Experience and know-how of the contractor in concrete technology is of great importance. (A)
