INTER-CITY AND THE ADVANCED PASSENGER TRAIN

This paper describes the British concept for inter-city rapid transit, the Advanced Passenger Train. Route analyses, travel times, railbed adaptation, aerodynamics, and braking are among the aspects of the APT considered here.
