Aus der Statistik der Unfallzahlen geht hervor, dass die Fahrzeuglenker den groessten Anteil (bis circa 95 Prozent) am Entstehen der Verkehrsunfaelle innerhalb des Systems "Lenker-Strassen-Verkehr-Fahrzeug" aufweisen. Die Jugendlichen, das heisst die Alterskategorie von 15 - 25 Jahren, haben an den Unfaellen der gesamten Bevoelkerung einen Anteil von 25 Prozent. Um eine bessere Aussagefaehigkeit zu erzielen muss diese Angabe weiter relativiert werden. Bei einer Gesamtbevoelkerung von 10,3 Millionen Einwohnern (Stand 1998) betraegt der Bevoelkerungsanteil dieser Altersgruppe nur 16 Prozent. Man kann also sagen, dass diese Altersgruppe sehr risikoanfaellig ist. Eine guenstige Entwicklung der von Jugendlichen verursachten Unfaelle kann man jedoch im Zeitraum der Jahre 1996 - 2000 feststellen. Der Autor analysiert die von jugendlichen Lenkern verursachten Unfaelle in verschiedenen Staedten, er befasst sich mit den psychologischen Aspekten der Entstehung von Unfaellen, den Hauptursachen der Unfaelle von Jugendlichen; erfasst werden auch die Folgen der Unfaelle der jugendlichen Unfallverursacher. Der Artikel enthaelt auch einen Vergleich der Unfallzahlen in der Tschechischen Republik mit denen der uebrigen auslaendischen Staaten. ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: According to the accident rate statistics it is obvious that within the system "driver-road-traffic-vehicle" the drivers cause the highest proportion of accidents (up to approximately 95 per cent). The young, i.e. age category 15-25 years, cause 25 per cent of all accidents also their population proportion is only 16 per cent out of the total 10,3 million (1998) inhabitants. It is possible to say that this age group is of high potential risk. However, we can notice positive development in accidents caused by the young in the period between 1996 and 2000. The author analyses young drivers' accidents in different towns, deals with the main causes and the psychological aspects of accident causes, and also follows the consequences of the young drivers' accidents. The article also includes a comparison of the accident rate in the CR with other foreign countries. The article is supplemented with tables and graphs.
