PLAIN CONCRETE UNDER ECCENTRIC LOADS

THE TEST RESULTS PRESENTED HERE, STAND AS ONE PART OF A GENERAL INVESTIGATION CONCERNING THE BEHAVIOR OF REINFORCED CONCRETE SUBJECTED TO BENDING MOMENTS. THE DEFORMATIONS AND THE BREAKING LOADS BY ECCENTRICAL LOADED PRISMS HAVE BEEN STUDIED UNDER THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE COMPRESSED ZONE OF A REINFORCED SECTION SUBJECTED TO BENDING, WILL REACT IN A SIMILAR MANNER.
