LAS CARGAS DEL TRAFICO SOBRE LA ESTRUCTURA DEL FIRME

Asi como en el analisis del comportamiento de los firmes se esta avanzando en la actualidad, incorporando nuevas metodologias y herramientas, no sucede lo mismo en el analisis de las cargas que el trafico produce sobre la estructura de dicho firme. En el articulo se analizan los diferentes tipos de ejes existentes en la actualidad, en los vehiculos pesados, su influencia sobre el firme y las variaciones de esta influencia en funcion del tipo de firme sobre el que se aplica. El articulo concluye con una sistematica para tener en cuenta, con mas detalle que actualmente, el efecto de las cargas del trafico sobre la estructura de los firmes. (A). Resumen en ingles: While analysis of pavement bearing capacity is improving, adding news methodologies and tools, it is not the same for the traffic loads analysis on the pavement. In this paper different types of existing axles in heavy trucks are analyzed. Also their influence over the pavement and the variations of this influence depends on studied pavement type. The paper concludes with a systematic to take into account, with more detail than actually, the effect of traffic loads on pavement structure. (A).
