Interlock - ein Beitrag zur Erhoehung der Sicherheit im Strassenverkehr / Interlock - a contribution to increasing road traffic safety

Nachdem Alkohol-Interlocks in grosser Zahl in Nordamerika eingesetzt werden, haben die Diskussionen ueber den moeglichen Einsatz auch in Europa begonnen. Die dafuer notwendigen technischen Anforderungen koennen von angebotenen Interlocks erfuellt werden. Darueber hinaus steht fuer die Geraete ein vollstaendiges System fuer die Kalibrierung und die Handhabung der in dem Geraet gespeicherten Daten zur Verfuegung. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: Since numerious alcohol interlocks are being used in North America, discussions were initiated about their possible implementation in Europe. Currently available interlocks can fulfil the necessary technical requirements. In addition, a complete system for calibration and handling of the data stored in the instrument is available. (A)
