EXPERIENCIA DEL PFI EN GRAN BRETANA

En Inglaterra la iniciativa para la financiacion privada (PFI) es un proceso dinamico en evolucion permanente, siendo su objetivo la colaboracion entre los sectores publico y privado para mejorar la prestacion de los servicios publicos y en particular el de la utilizacion de las carreteras. En esta ponencia se hace referencia a los hechos mas destacados de este proceso, dividido en dos periodos. El primero desde el lanzamiento de la iniciativa a partir de 1992 hasta 1997. El segundo desde 1997 hasta el presente. A continuacion se citan los proyectos en curso y se comenta el plan de transporte publico para el decenio 2000 - 2010. Ver ficha general ITRD S404796
