U-Bahn Fuerth, BA 3.1: Spritzbetonbauweise mit Baugrundvereisung und Rohrschirm / Fuerth underground, BA 3.1: Shotcrete construction method with subsoil freezing and pipe umbrella

Fuer die Errichtung des Bauabschnitts 3.1 der U-Bahn von Fuerth als Teil des Nuernberg-Fuerther U-Bahnnetzes wurden beziehungsweise werden schwierige Bauverfahren erfolgreich eingesetzt. Ein 60 m langer Rohrschirm sichert die bestehende Bebauung bei der Errichtung des Bahnhofes Klinikum. An anderer Stelle wurde in grundwasserfuehrenden Sanden eine Vereisung mit anschliessendem Vortrieb in Spritzbetonbauweise geplant und ausgefuehrt. Im konventionellen Vortrieb wird durch gebirgsangepasste Methoden ein Minimum an Setzungen fuer die bestehende Ueberbauung gewaehrleistet. Die Bauweisen werden im Detail auch quantitativ beschrieben. Eine besondere Innovation stellt der erstmalige Einsatz gesteuerter Horizontalbohrungen (HDD-Bohrungen) fuer die Herstellung der Vereisungsbohrungen unter Grundwasser aus einer gesicherten Baugrube heraus dar. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: Complex construction methods have been and are still being applied for building the BA 3.1 of the Fuerth Underground, Part of the Nuremberg-Fuerth underground railway network. A 60 m long pipe umbrella safeguards the existing buildings while the Klinikum Station is erected. Elsewhere, freezing with a subsequent drive using the shotcrete construction method is planned in water-bearing sands. Methods commensurate with the in situ conditions have been applied to ensure that minimal settlements affect existing buildings during the conventional drive. The construction measures are also described in detail quantitatively. The first-ever application of controlled horizontal boreholes (HDD boreholes) for creating the freezing bores under groundwater from a secured construction pit represents a particular innovation.
