Langzeitmonitoring der Koehlbrandbruecke zur objektbezogenen Schadensanalyse / Long-term monitoring of the "Koehlbrand-Bridge" for the damage analysis

Monitoring als Verfahren zur Schadensanalyse und zur kontinuierlichen Beobachtung von Lasteinfluessen auf Schadensauswirkungen ist noch eine junge Disziplin. Bei der Koehlbrandbruecke in Hamburg gab es fuer den Bauwerksverantwortlichen fachliche und wirtschaftliche Gruende, dieses Verfahren langfristig fuer die Einschaetzung des Bauwerkszustands einzusetzen. Erste Ergebnisse nach circa 1,5 Jahren zeigen, dass trotz hoher Verkehrslasten und ungewoehnlicher Lastfaelle durch Hochwasser das Monitoring zur Gewaehrleistung der Bauwerkssicherheit beitraegt. ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: Monitoring as a procedure for the damage analysis and for the continuous observation of load impact on already damaged structures is still a young discipline. The responsible authority for the Koehlbrand bridge in Hamburg had good technical and economic reasons to implement this procedure on a long-term basis for the assessment of the building condition. First results after approximately one and a half year show that the monitoring contributes to the guarantee of building security, although the building is stressed by high traffic loads and unusual loads caused by floods.
