El puente sobre el rio Deba, recientemente construido, se caracteriza por la singularidad de sus formas, especialmente por la existencia de un tablero de hormigon provisto de un pretensado extradosado que sobresale del canto de la seccion a la manera de un potente atirantamiento situado en un pequeno espacio cercano a las pilas. El diseno estructural del conjunto responde a la necesidad de resolver un problema de galibo estricto impuesto por los especiales condicionantes de trazado en un puente cuyo tablero discurre en curva sobre un ferrocarril, el rio Deba y una carretera, ofreciendo al mismo tiempo un atractivo aspecto que le permite integrarse en el entorno paisajistico, sin destacar en altura frente al resto de los puentes pertenecientes al Enlace de Malzaga. En el presente articulo se describen las principales caracteristicas de la obra realizada (tablero, pretensado de vigas longitudinales y pilas), precedidas de unas consideraciones relativas al diseno de puentes con pretensado extradosado. English abstract: The recently built bridge over the River Deba is characterised by the uniqueness of its shapes, especially by a concrete deck provided with a prestressing protruding from the edge of the section in the fashion of powerful staying located in a small space close to the piers. The overall structural design responds to a need to solve a strict clearance problem as imposed by the special alignment conditioning factors in a bridge whose deck runs in a curve over a railway, the river Deba and a road, whilst at the same time, its attractive appearance enables it to blend with the landscape and not stand out in height as to the other bridges belonging to Malzaga Junction. This article describes the main characteristics of the construction, preceded by considerations relating to the design of bridges with extradosed prestressing. (A).
