SELECTING A SCHEME TO CALCULATE WING SYSTEM STRENGTH IN RAKETA-TYPE HYDROFOIL BOATS

An analysis is given of several simplest force schemes for calculating the dynamic strength of Raketa-type hydrofoils under the effect of impact loads occurring during sailing in rough water. Both numerical and illustrative data are given to substantiate the hydrofoil calculation scheme recommended by the authors.
