Study and Performance Test of High Module Pavement Asphalt

Based on the research process of high module asphalt and material tests, high module asphalt verification test were carried out, The results from the tests show that (1) the PG grade of high module asphalt is PG 76-22, the penetration is 20~50, the softening point is not less than 60¡æ, the breaking point is not more than-10¡æ, the dynamic viscosity under the temperature of 135¡æis less than 3 Pa¡¤s; (2) the performances of the high module asphalt include high temperature rut-resistance,dynamic module, water damage-resistance and economic property are superior to those of SBS modified asphalt and Liaohe AH-90 asphalt¡¤Itwas proved that the application of highmodule asphalt in the middle surfac a suitable solution for rut disease under the high temperature¡¤
