EFFECT OF AGGREGATE SHAPE ON BITUMINOUS MIX CHARACTER

The paper reports on a study to determine whether aggregate shape is of significance in the use of bituminous paving material. Possible areas affected are stability, voids, density, required asphalt content, and durability. It discusses the materials used in the study, study procedures, the data obtained, analysis and conclusions. Recommendations based on the study conclusions are also made.
