A CRUSHING PLANT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY

DET FRAMTIDA MILJOESAEKRA KROSSVERKET

The aim of this study is to evaluate present stone crushing machines in regard to industrial safety and pollution, and also to propose a design for a new machine equipped with integrated capes and insulators to prevent noise and dust emission. The study focuses on improvements that have been carried out on stone plants in Sweden over the last few years. The plants have been equipped with different types of capes, and in many instances with particle separators and moisture equipment. The report states that it is necessary to develop a new technology, which in many cases will bring about radical changes in the basic design of the stone crushing machine. Finally, the report contains a description of the new technology, along with a demand specification for a future stone crushing plant, both mobile and stationary. /TRRL/
