TRANSPORTATION ANALYSIS METHODS FOR THE XIII WINTER OLYMPICS

The transportation planning process used is discussed. It combines a number of diverse elements to produce an assignment of traffic volumes to the highway network so that the impact of alternative transportation strategies can be examined. The process can be divided into the six main stages described.
