HDM-4 - Recent Applications in Africa and South America

HDM-4 - Applications Recentes En Afrique Et En Amerique Du Sud

The HDM-4, Version 2, software package has been used worldwide for a number of implementations since it debuted in 2005. The authors present an overview of four recent projects carried out by partners of HDMGlobal, a consortium tasked with a five year stewardship period for HDM-4, Version 2. Projects profiled were carried out in Africa's North-South Corridor, the city of Santa Catarina in Brazil, the city of Douala in Cameroon, and Malawi. HDM-4, Version 2's improved functionality has allowed a wider road investment problem spectrum to be handled than previously. This has resulted in both public and private agency confidence in the software's ability to solve real problems as they strive to serve their communities.
