DEVELOPMENT OF PHOTOGRAMMETRIC METHODS IN RIGHT OF WAY OPERATIONS

THIS REPORT EXPLORES PHOTOGRAMMETRY AS A POTENTIALLY VALUABLE TOOL FOR MINIMIZING THE TIME AND COST OF RIGHT OF WAY PLAN DEVELOPMENT. THE PROBLEMS DISCUSSED CONCERN OBSCURITY OR ERROR IN SOME LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS, MISSING PROPERTY AND SECTION CORNER MONUMENTS, LACK OF ACCEPTANCE OF PROPERTY DESCRIPTIONS UTILIZING PLANE COORDINATES, AND THE NEED FOR AN EFFECTIVE GROUND TARGET FOR SURVEY CONTROL POINTS.
