THIS ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY LISTS OVER 800 REFERENCES WHICH ARE DIRECTLY RELEVANT TO ADP APPLICATIONS IN SPECIFIC GOVERNMENTAL FUNCTIONS AND OPERATIONS. IT PROVIDES A BASIC GUIDE TO ONGOING SYSTEMS FOR A SPECIFIC APPLICATION PERFORMED BY STATE AND LOCAL PUBLIC JURISDICTIONS. THE ADMINISTRATOR NOW HAS A CURRENT REFERENCE ON THE GENERAL AND SPECIFIC SOURCES AVAILABLE ON HOW TO INTEGRATE GOVERNMENTAL OPERATIONS INTO A TOTAL AUTOMATED SYSTEM, THE SOCIAL AND MANAGERIAL IMPACT OF ADP, AND LONG-RANGE ALTERNATIVES IN APPLYING NEW TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES TO THEIR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY.
