Trial Research on Cement-stabilized Macadam Anti-crack Evaluation Coefficient Based on Environment and Load
According to the shortcoming of cement-stabilized macadam that is prone to cracking, by evaluating anti-crack performance of cement-stabilized macadam, choosing a type of cement-stabilized macadam having good anti-crack performance is important to enhance performance of asphalt pavement. After analyzing existing anti-crack evaluation index, the anti-crack evaluation coefficient based on environment and load was put forward. Next, 3 anti-crack evaluation indexes were compared through indoor tests. The research indicates that: 1) using anti-crack evaluation coefficient can properly evaluate anti-crack performance of cement-stabilized macadam; 2) the cracking performance of gradation calculated by theory of controlling key sieve percentage is better than the cracking performance from Fuller gradation theory; and 3) over loading has significant adverse impact on tensile strain at the bottom of base.
