THE RESULTS OF THIS STUDY PROVIDE USEFUL INSIGHTS INTO HOW FARMERS' COSTS OF TRANSPORTING GRAIN WOULD BE AFFECTED BY THE ABANDONMENT OF BRANCH LINES WHICH WOULD NECESSITATE TRANSPORTING GRAIN A LONGER DISTANCE TO ALTERNATIVE ELEVATORS. /RATAOC/
