PROCEEDINGS OF THE SEMINAR SERIES ON TRANSPORTATION, 1970- 1971.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE SEMINAR SERIES ON TRANSPORTATION WAS TO BRING IDEAS AND TECHNIQUES FROM DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENTS INTO FOCUS ON A COMMON PROBLEM, NAMELY TRANSPORTATION. POLITICAL, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL INFLUENCES, AS WELL AS TECHNOLOGICAL CHANGE, ARE INVOLVED IN TRANSPORTATION PROBLEMS. WITH THIS IN MIND, FIVE SPEAKERS WERE INVITED TO DISCUSS SOME ASPECT OF TRANSPORTATION IN WHICH THEY WERE PARTICULARLY KNOWLEDGEABLE.
