Smart Speed -- Using ISA to Create Awareness of the Impact of Speeding on the Climate. Report on the Road Administrations Cooperation with Municipalities within the Western Region

This paper describes how Intelligent Speed Adaptation measures (ISA) have been installed in municipality-owned vehicles to assess the degree of speeding of the municipalities employees. The results show that all 10 participants have profound problems with speeding, which contributes to excess co2 emissions, increased costs and increased risk of injury or death. In order to change driving habits, it has been a great advantage to combine technology ISA with a behavioral approach. It has also been of great value to work with municipalities in a group.
