BASE PLANT CORRELATOR

THE BASE PLANT CORRELATOR IS THE COMPONENT OF THE ALL-WEATHER TOPOGRAPHIC MAPPING SYSTEM (AWTMS) WHICH CONVERTS RADAR SIGNAL FILMS INTO RADAR IMAGERY. THIS INTERIM REPORT PRESENTS THE STUDIES WHICH GOODYEAR AEROSPACE CORPORATION CONDUCTED DURING THE DESIGN AND STUDY PHASE (PHASE I) OF THE CORRELATOR PROJECT WHICH DEMONSTRATED THAT THE PHASE I EQUIPMENT DESIGNS WILL MEET OR EXCEED THE PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH BY THE U.S. ARMY ENGINEER TOPOGRAPHIC LABORATORIES (USAETL) IN CONTRACT PURCHASE DESCRIPTION (DAAK02-71-C-0113). /AUTHOR/
