THE MOVEMENT OF GOODS IN THE URBAN AREA

TRUCK MOVEMENT IS TO BE DISTINGUISHED FROM URBAN GOODS MOVEMENT FOR A NUMBER OF REASONS. FURTHERMORE, THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT IS A MORE JUSTIFIABLE STUDY AREA THAN THAT ENCOMPASSED BY TOTAL URBAN GOODS MOVEMENT. THE RESULTS OF THE 1956 PHILADELPHIA CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT CORE GOODS MOVEMENT STUDY ARE PRESENTED.
