Public E-Services Using the Road Network as a Common Denominator

To make relevant services available to the general public, the municipality needs to establish a digital infrastructure that allows data from different authorities and the systems they use to be integrated, to make it possible to receive the latest information from the sources when updated. This will ensure the information is as timely and correct as possible. To provide a service that covers all citizens, including those with various functional disabilities, the information has to be targeted to the group of road users for which it is intended. Creating separate networks for pedestrians and cyclists makes previously unavailable services possible.
