Interoperability and Comodality of Transport Systems in France: Last Applications of ACTIF

Its numerous applications show that the Assistance for Conceptualizing Interoperable Transport in France (ACTIF), the French Framework Architecture for ITS, is now a well-adapted tool for ITS project owners and their project managers. Its application on the Interfaces between maritime and waterways information systems in Rouen harbor was the opportunity for applying it on a co-modal approach. It allowed a lot of improvements: on the ACTIF model, which covers the different modes of transport, on the OSCAR software tool, with a new English version. The feedback of such applications could be capitalized at the European level in aim to build the future common Framework Architectures for ITS and also for Transportation Policy.
