Ethic of Interdependence as a Basis for Ethic of Social Responsibility in Logistic Services

This paper describes how logistics is a networking organization/activity that has to be very reliable in order to include social responsibility. The latter can be considered a new way to promote holistic perception, thinking, decision-making, and action, which means a new way of systemic thinking as a crucial tool for solving the current problems of mankind, as well as contemporary ethics. It expresses interdependence. Problems requiring it result from the economic development of the recent few centuries and decades, where one has attempted to replace the previous natural interdependence for one-sided individualism. The latter has led to rapid economic progress, but in a part of the world only, and to world wars and economic crises as well. Social responsibility is a mater of ethic, especially of ethic interdependence. Logistic is a social service and market-based activity at the same time. Hence social responsibility is a specific topic in it, which may still have to be elaborated.
