National Idling Reduction Planning Conference 2004

On May 17 to 19, 2004, EPA and the Departments of Energy and Transportation hosted the National Idling Reduction Planning Conference in Albany, New York. This conference brought together over 200 representatives from industry, states, Federal government, and environmental, health, and citizen groups to discuss ways to reduce long-duration engine idling. This CD-ROM contains all of the speeches and power point presentations that were presented at the conference and topics include idle reduction, climate change, clean cities, commercial vehicle fleets, in-vehicle sensors, emissions, environmental impacts, alternative energy, highways, railroads, and ports.
