WHAT IS NEEDED FOR A FACT FINDING STUDY OF INTERCITY TRANSPORTATION IN THE UNITED STATES

INTERCITY ORIGIN AND DESTINATION STUDIES OF HIGHWAY TRAFFIC ARE DISCUSSED AS A MEANS TO ANALYZE THE NUMBER OF TRANSPORT VEHICLES, THEIR USE AND THE FACILITIES NEEDED FOR THEIR OPERATION. THE SOCIOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC FACTORS ARE ALSO RELEVENT. THIS PROBLEM WOULD BE UNDERTAKEN AS A NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION STUDY.
