Evaluation of Portland Cement Concrete Pavement With High Slag Content Cement

The performance of a section of concrete pavement built with 30% Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) is compared to a control section of concrete pavement built with 25% GGBFS to determine if the higher slag content pavement is more resistant to wear from studded tires. This report details the construction of the pavement, construction quality control tests, and initial base line wear, friction, and smoothness results.
