Libraries Edge Search Engines in TRIS User Survey
In 2007, the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Library and Information Science for Transportation Committee conducted an online survey of core Transportation Research Information Services (TRIS) users. This was the first large-scale TRIS user survey in 30 years. Of the 327 respondents, 96% affirmed their satisfaction with TRIS, saying they would recommend the service to other transportation researchers. This article briefly discusses some of the other survey findings.
